Using Autocomplete Settings in Divi Form Builder

Autocomplete lets the browser suggest saved values, such as a name or email, so visitors can finish the form faster. It is on by default for the field types that support it.

Where to find it

1. Open the page in the Visual Builder.
2. Select the Form module and open the Content tab.
3. Select the field.
4. Open Autocomplete Settings.
5. Use Enable Browser Autocomplete.

This group appears on Text, Email, Password, Textarea, Date Picker, and Date & Time Picker fields.

Best practices

• Use clear field labels (for example, Email, First Name) so browser suggestions are more accurate.
• Keep Field IDs stable after launch to avoid confusion in templates and integrations.
• Use autocomplete on common profile fields, not on sensitive one-time values.

Verify it works

1. Save and open the form on the front end.
2. Click the field and check whether your browser offers saved suggestions.
3. Submit the form and confirm no validation errors were introduced.

Troubleshooting

• If suggestions do not appear, check browser autofill settings and test in another browser profile.
• If a field should not be auto-filled, turn Enable Browser Autocomplete off for that field.
