Creating a Feature Loop and Layout
Goal
By the end of this tutorial you will have a Divi Library layout that lists one plan’s features, and a Membership Item that uses it. On Divi 5, add Membership Item from the Divi Membership folder. On Divi 4, use the same module in the Classic Builder.
Prerequisites
- Divi theme and Divi Membership installed and configured.
- At least one membership plan with features (or feature list) defined.
- Familiarity with Divi’s layout and module options.
Steps
- Go to Divi → Divi Library → Add New.
- Give the reusable item a descriptive name, such as Membership feature card, choose Layout as its layout type, and submit it to open the Builder.
- Add a Membership Item module and set Content to Show to Feature Title (Feature Loop Only). Add another Membership Item set to Feature Description (Feature Loop Only) when the description should appear too.
- Add any supporting icon, background, spacing, or card design. Save the layout and exit the Library editor.
- Open the pricing page and add the parent Membership Item module.
- Select the membership plan, set Content to Show to Feature Loop Layout, and select the library layout you saved.
- Under Feature Loop Grid Options, set the columns and gaps for desktop, tablet, and phone.
- Save the page and view it on the front end.
Verification
Confirm every feature saved on the selected plan appears once. Change the parent module's plan to verify that its own feature data is used, then test desktop, tablet, and phone widths for wrapping, spacing, and readable text.
