Divi 5 module

Gallery/Slider displays images (and related media) from a custom field—ACF gallery, image, or similar—as a grid or slider, with optional captions, arrows, dots, load more, and lightbox (“See all photos”).

Overview​

How to use Gallery/Slider​

  1. Create and assign a gallery or image field on the post type.
  2. Add Gallery/Slider to the single or loop layout.
  3. Select the custom field under main content settings.
  4. Choose grid or slider presentation and configure columns, arrows, and dots.
  5. Style titles, captions, and buttons under Design.

Main Settings​

Gallery Layout

Choose grid-oriented or slider-oriented presentation for the field images.

Custom Field Gallery Type / field names

Select how the gallery is stored, then set Custom Field Gallery Name, Custom Field Group Name, and/or Custom Field Group Image Name as shown for your type.

Is this inside a repeater loop layout?

Enable when the gallery sits inside a Machine Repeater custom loop layout so field resolution uses the repeater row context.

Include Featured Image in Gallery?

Optionally prepend the post featured image to the gallery set.

Enable Lightbox? / Show all images in Lightbox?

Open images in a lightbox; optionally include the full set (“see all photos” style behavior).

Image Count / Show Title and Caption

Limit how many images render initially and whether titles/captions appear.

Grid Settings​

Grid style, columns, gap, overlay icons/colors, “all images” icon/text, Enable Load More? with load counts and button labels, optional Grid Custom Code.

Slider Settings​

Slider style, top space, infinite scrolling, arrows, dots, animation speed, center mode, variable width, adaptive height, autoplay, plus mobile slider options when present.

Design​

Title and caption typography, button styling, and standard Divi spacing/border controls.

Pitfalls and limits​

  • Empty or mis-assigned fields show no images—verify field return format (array/IDs) matches what Machine expects for your provider.
  • For repeater-nested galleries, prefer Repeater + Custom Field Item or a dedicated gallery field on the post.
  • Native Divi Gallery + Insert Dynamic Content is enough for many simple cases; use this module for slider/grid/lightbox workflows tied to Machine fields.
