In the Divi 5 module picker this module appears as DM: Post Slider (Depreciated) (spelling matches the builder). Do not use it for new builds. Prefer Divi’s native Post Slider / Fullwidth Post Slider with Machine’s query and dynamic content extensions, or Post Carousel for Machine carousel layouts.

Legacy layouts
If an existing Divi 4 layout still contains the Machine Post Slider shortcode:
- Follow Divi 5 Migration Tool for shortcode unification and Divi’s migrator.
- Rebuild the section with native Post Slider or Post Carousel.
- Re-save Divi Library layouts that still embed the deprecated module.
The Divi 5 Visual Builder may show a deprecation notice and limited editing; treat that as a migration prompt, not a supported workflow.
